On one of the hottest days so far this year, 1st Sirhowy Valley Scouts accompanied by leaders from all sections of the Group, Chief (aka Gareth Haywood) and members of our Executive Committee decided to cool down in the Bay. Once kitted out we ventured into the coldest water possible (well it felt like initially). The swim across to the start was fine, getting onto the actual starting point was interesting and then the fun began. Its fair to say everyone threw themselves into the activity, many ended up in the water more than staying on the obstacle course. Chief led the way in jumping off the high jump (we have video evidence on our own facebook page if you want to check it out!!). Everyone had an amazing time, these are just a selection of photos that our young peoples parents took whilst we were on the park. What an end to the term, 1st Sirhowy Valley is definitely back to full scouting!!!
